Turner's Depression is the seventeenth chapter of Turner's Second Chance.

Chris receives a phone call from his father, who is in prison, apologizing for abusing him and the rest of the family and overall being a bad father. Unable to escape from the trauma of his childhood, Chris refuses to accept the apology, and just wants to forget about his father altogether, cursing him and blaming him for being the reason why his childhood was the worst, why he was bullied in Compton in the first place, and why the family moved to San Francisco and is still laying low from Tristan Duran and the Chavez brothers. Chris hangs up the phone, but the incident leaves him feeling pretty upset about what he has said. He then slips into somewhat of a depression.
