is the main male protagonist of the No Game, No Life light novel, manga and anime series.

He is a brilliant NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) shut-in (a hikikomori) gamer along with his step-sister, Shiro, with whom he forms 「 」, or Blank. Between him and Shiro, he is the cunning and manipulative half of the siblings.

He has a lackadaisical hatred towards life and is pretty much dedicated to only gaming. One day, along Shiro, he is sent to an alternate world known as Disboard by the God of Games, Tet, after defeating him in a round of virtual chess and must now, alongside Shiro, challenge the 16 countries of Disboard, receive their respective Race Piece and challenge Tet once again.

  • The kanji for Sora's name ("空") means "sky" in Japanese. It can also mean "emptiness" ("空"), which was pointed out by Shiro during their first encounter.
  • In Charapedia's "Most Intelligent Anime Character" poll, Sora was ranked as No. 5.
