Drake Romero in Sibling Rivalries: Salvador Real's Adventures

Drake Romero is a minor character in Sibling Rivalries: Salvador Real's Adventures and Turner's Second Chance, and the deuteragonist of Sibling Rivalries: Vancouver Stories. He is the center for the Vancouver Vultures, and after he is injured and helped by Jason Parker, Drake becomes Jason's best friend.

Besides his football uniform, Drake wears a v-neck shirt (without sleeves) that has "AWESOME" written on it, and basic shorts and shoes. He has two strings that come out of his shorts, but they serve no real purpose. Drake has a backwards hat similar to Jason's beanie, that covers his hair. His football jersey has the number 8 on it.

  • Drake's first name and Jason's last name could be a homage to the character Drake Parker from the Nickelodeon show Drake and Josh.
    • Another Drake and Josh reference is shown later in the comic when Drake recieves a phone call from Joshua Jackson, who starts the conversation with "Drake, it's Josh".
  • As of 2016, Drake and Tetch 60 are the only deuteragonists in the GTA Nerd Comic Universe to not be related to the protagonist, whether it be blood-related or by marriage (Francis McReary is Patrick McReary's biological brother, Eduardo Tena is Salvador Real's step-brother, Hunter Prince is cousins with Chris Turner, and Joseph Escobar and Carlos Garcia Ventura are adoptive brothers).
  • Despite the surname Romero being Spanish and/or Italian, Drake is neither of those; he is full Canadian. GTA Nerd had several disputes on what Drake's last name would be, leading him to give up after suggesting the name Romero.
