Friends of the Protagonist

Characters who are allied with the protagonist of the story, and who usually end the story on good terms. This category includes characters who are related to the protagonist, like Roman Bellic.

Lance Vance could be an example as a character who both follows and breaks this rule. He is the brother of one protagonist, Victor Vance, and ends his story as an obvious ally. However, Lance starts off as the friend of another protagonist, Tommy Vercetti, but betrays him and is killed for it.
