McReary FamilyEdit

McReary Siblings' FriendsEdit

  • This is the first comic to actually feature a sibling rivalry (Francis, Gerry, and Derrick fight to see who Packie likes the most), while all previous comics have no rivalries, making the series title odd.
  • The way Salvador falls after being hit by a paintball headshot is similar to the old death animation from GTA III-GTA Vice City Stories.
  • The title is a reference to the 2011 Nickelodeon movie Best Player.
  • It's revealed the McRearys and their friends have paintball gun fights, with the guns being based on GTA weapons.
  • This is the first comic after "The Big Trade-Off" which Angel Chacon is absent in.
    • Salvador Real still appears (along with his buddies Eduardo Tena and Claude), but only in the beginning, middle, and end of the comic, the rest focuses on the McReary siblings.
  • Third time Joel Gonzales appears without James Johnson after the comic "Gonzales Vs. McReary". ("The Curse of the Milderbeast", "San Salvador's Story")
  • At the end of the comic, Salvador indirectly mentions Armando Vasquez and Braulio Guillen from Sibling Rivalries: Salvador Real's Adventures.
  • Thia marks the first series appearance of David Saldivar after appearing in SR: SRA, although in this comic he is only referred to as D to avoid revealing too much about him; the next comic properly introduces him.
