Aaron O'Neill is the middle son of Ethan and Chloe O'Neill.
Description[]
According to Derrick, Aaron is stuck in an emo phase, pretending to always be depressed. He always appears with a frown and usually has his hands in his pockets, as well as earbuds in his ears. As mentioned as a fact in "The 100th Comic Spectacular!", He is literally the only named character to never smile in any scene he is in (although neither has Saul Borr Mann, but the fact was focused on more recurring characters).
He is the favorite cousin of Kate McReary, who tries her hardest to essentially try breaking him out of that phase. Aaron does seem to appreciate her company as she is the only family member that he is seen interacting with multiple times, although she has never been successful.
Trivia[]
- Aaron talks a lot in his sleep as seen in "Fightin' Irish" and "Warriors Weekend Getaway", and even sleepwalks in the latter. In the latter comic, Steve Madison does these same things.
- The closest that Aaron came to smiling was in Season 11 comic "Living La Vida Familia", after seeing Maureen and Hector renew their wedding vows and talk about how grateful they are for their family, and when Kate was tickling him in "The 100th Comic Spectacular!" but Aaron insists that he "will not break character".
