• Unknown Date - Carlos Garcia Montero is born in Spain.
• October to December - The events of Strugglers In Arms continue.
  • The Fort Benning soldiers are deployed to the Forest of Fontainebleau in France to investigate a terrorist attack targeting Paris.
  • At least one of Alexander Thompson's men are killed by accident, as a drunk Javier Rojas-Reed kills him before Andrue Lee and Brandon Logue intended to get information out of him.
  • In the beginning of December, Javier goes missing, running away somewhere due to his depression getting worse. He was almost declared deceased until he returns in January 1979.
  • Near the end of December, soldiers Mark Farley, Lou Baker Young, Vincent Hamilton, and Nicolas Lugo are presumed to be killed by enemies.
